Walk of Shame

Walk of Shame is the fourth chapter of the Love Unexpectedly novel series. It is written by Lauren Layne. When it comes to romantic fiction novels then she is the bestselling author of quite a few of them in USA Today and NYT. Her work has also appeared in Oprah Magazine and The Wall Street Journal. Passion on Park Avenue is a genre fiction novel by the author that will inspire you a lot with its story. Blurred Lines is a contemporary romance novel by Lauren Layne that will also mesmerize you a lot.

The narration of this chapter is done by Susannah Jones and Joe Arden. The dual narration wasn’t required for this type of novel. One narrator would have been enough. Susannah Jones at her part was brilliant.

Sparks used to fly amid a misunderstood kind of a NY socialite and a pessimistic divorce lawyer in this standalone novel. Georgianna Watkins is a pampered heiress whose image is more of a party girl type. But, all the clubbing and shopping feels quite hollow and it was lonely too. George wouldn’t ever admit it about the highlights of her time when in the mornings she makes a return to her home which coincides with the time as of her uptight, workaholic neighbor. At that time, he leaves home for the gym. After that, he always has a long day at his office. Teasing him is the funniest thing that Georgie has been experiencing in years. It is also her fuel for all of the naughtiest dreams that she has.

The book is cute and sweet with its story and characters. The character of Joe was excellent throughout and she came as a great surprise for the listeners. Susannah Joseph was good with the narration and she should have been the only narrator delivering this novel.
