It is because World Without End is set in the same Knightsbridge town but the events of this book took place a couple of centuries after the people of the town finished with the construction of the cathedral. The story again will dominate with hate and love, revenge and ambition, pride and greed.
This is a fantastic book and deserves all the appreciation in the world. The storyline of this book is a lot like a soap opera which came along with several personal relationships which were dominated by rage and sex. The characters are written so beautifully.
