The story in this novel is about Mike Valenzuela, who is an LAPD Sergeant. He is in a wounded state and finds the help that he required in the Virgin River. Now, he misses the marital ecstasy that all of his Marine Corps colleagues used to enjoy. He also thinks that he has now found the perfect woman for her. But, she got brutally attacked and changed everything. Mike in the aftermath should make her believe again and also how she could trust him in every possible way. It will not be going to be easy but she can try. Mike also has his big part to play to win her trust.
Whispering Rock is a special novel that will surely touch your heart. The characters are so much larger than life that you will be able to feel their emotions. Not only this novel but the entire Virgin River series is exceptional. The performance given by Therese Plummer is the best and she just nailed the performance.
