She is a lovely narrator and gave a 5-star vocal performance.
Aspen was only nine years old when Camden was befriended by her. Camden was a boy with dark urges and dead eyes. Since that time, they were both inseparable. She had not expected to develop any major crush on him or expected by any means that the crush would just fail to pass. She didn’t think that she would grow to wish that she could claim him one day as her mate. That’s not something that will be going to happen. She knew that pretty well and she was just a friend to him, and nothing more than that. So, that was the time to make the changes to set up some better boundaries. That would have been a lot easier if he didn’t have to fight her over it.
There was only one person in the world who Camden gave a damn about, and that was Aspen. She was his best friend, his conscience, and his anchor. That was the very reason that he was sane. There was one secret that he always kept from her. He wanted to have something more than friendship.
