Washington Audiobook
Ron Chernow has described the life of multiple characters in his books and it is the field of interest for the author. Grant and Alexander Hamilton are fine works that can give not only the correct picture of the main character but also the era to which they belonged. This time it is Washington who is selected for biography and there was no better choice than Scott Brick in the narration. Washington is a well-known personality in history but doesn’t think that this book was not needed.
The book has the correct and complete picture of the man who has dominated a certain part of history. There are many books in which we can read about Washington but these books don’t cover the entire personality of the man. A few books talk about his professional life while the others discuss his personal life only.
Here the blend is exact without any doubt and no one can say that the book is an incomplete version. The author starts with the personal life of the primary character and we are told that he was romantic in nature. It was because of his romantic nature that he was a very good dancer and an excellent horse rider too.
He was the man who could capture the attention of the audience with a single glance. He married Martha and the marriage is described in a different way here. The man also adopted children and then he had a good relationship with his grandchildren too. When he acted as a slave master he was totally a different person so understanding a man of such a personality is always difficult.
