Everyone knows that the world will end sooner or later, however, no one can tell the exact time of the apocalypse. For Cassie Forrest, the dooms day comes a little earlier than she expected and her days to mend her life just vanish. The girl ruined her life in the past as she destroyed her life completely because of which the love of her life also drifted away from her. Now she was planning to start her life all over again so that she can erase those mistakes she once committed.
On the day she resolved, the world got hit by Bornavirus LX and most of the people turn into zombies. As more time passed, more and more people change into those freaking creatures and there was no way out of this madness. All Cassie was able to do was to run away from all of this as far as she could.
During this struggle, she finds her friends some of whom she does not like but she has no other solution except to tag with those guys and increase her chances of survival. Adrian also joins Cassie in her campaign and this provides both of them an opportunity to come closer once again.
The team hides in a secure place which is well described by the author Sarah Lyons Fleming. In that secure place, all of the team members start putting the pieces of the puzzle together. Mordacious and And After have more engaging thoughts in them for the audience. Julia Whelan is an extra addition that has improved the quality of this story through narration.
