The narration of this book has been handled by Callie Dalton. She did a great job representing the heroine. You would love listening to her as she gives great life to the book. Overall, the narration has been spot on.

When Iris Taylor first meets Dex Locke, she can’t stop looking at him. He has a flawless face. He is tall and has a smoking hot body with beautiful tattoos. The problem starts when he speaks, and the façade is washed away. He is arrogant, impatient, and rude. He is the kind of alpha personality who dwells more on their dark mysterious side.

She came to Pins and Needles the tattoo shop to get a job, but what is this situation she got herself stuck in. Not to mention this guy is also a member of the motorcycle club to which her estranged father used to belong to.

He is her boss now. He is a widower. He is an ex-felon and her brother’s friend. He has been with a handful of women casually. But he represents everything that grips Iris. She can’t help but feel attracted to him. She has been through other heartbreaks before. What’s wrong with just another one?

The story is told from Iris’ perspective. Her life is filled with tragedy but she is a tough cookie. Iris and Dex clash in the start, but it all leads towards the inevitable. The romance has been developed very naturally in this novel.
