Unbirthday: A Twisted Tale is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the 10th chapter of Twisted Tales’ novel series. The author of the novel is Liz Braswell. She is an English-born American author. She is known for writing young adult fiction novels. The Nine Lives of Chloe King is her best-known series. This same series was adapted into a TV show in 2011 with the same name. Among her better chapters, you will find What Once Was Mine as one of them. Moreover, As Old as Time is another very good novel that Liz Braswell has written.
The audio narration of the book is done by Lorna Bennett. She was stunning with her performance and you wouldn’t want her to stop. Her voice was just so soothing and enjoyable.
Alex was from Oxford and she was quite different than the other 18 years old ladies there. And, that was fine with her. She preferred to spend her afternoons with her camera in the lively salon of her aunt Vivian. She was just ignoring the wishes of her sister that she would stop all of the ‘nonsense’ and would for sure become a ‘respectable’ individual in society.
Alice was showing deep interest in the young lawyer she met just recently. But, this meeting was just out of her curiosity and not because he was a charming type.
The story was slightly odd going back and forth which makes it a bit complicated. You need to follow every part of it or you may miss some important details. Overall, it is a great, fun story that was excellently performed as well in audio.
