Twice Bitten is a beautiful paranormal romance novel. It is the 3rd chapter in the Chicagoland Vampires novel series. The followers of this series are well aware of Chloe Neill, who is its author. She has been quite spectacular with her style of writing and can connect with the audience through her writing. If you want to have the same experience then you must check her Some Girls Bite and Friday Night Bites novels.
Cynthia Holloway majorly received positive reviews and feedback for her performance. However, it is also felt that she was not comfortable in providing enough variation in her accent to cover all the characters.
Merit is the newest vampire to be seen in Chicago. She is learning things to play with others in a good manner. Other supernatural or the shapeshifters are assembling in the Windy City from all across the country. Ethan Sullivan, the master vampire as a peace gesture has extended his offer of a special bodyguard for their leader. It was Merit of course. She in her new role is expected to protect Gabrial Keene, the Alpha vamp. She also has her task cut out to spy for all the vampires while she is at it. Luckily for her, Ethan Sullivan is giving some steamy combat training to prepare her well for the upcoming mission. Merit should agree to the new task, even if she thinks that she will regret it.
Twice Bitten is the best among the three novels published this far. It is a tempting listen and you might find yourself listening to this nonstop. Cynthia was reasonably good with her reading of this novel.
