Total Control is a thriller & suspense novel. The book is by David Baldacci who is one of the most amazing and #1 bestselling authors of mystery thrillers. If you want to give him a try then No Man’s Land: John Puller, Book 4 is the book for you. Another book from the author that you must check out is Long Shadows. The audio narration of Total Control is done by Jonathan Marosz. He was good with his performance and did reasonably well not to distract listeners from the suspense.
Sidney Archer is the main character of the story who was known to have it all. She had a husband whom she loved a lot, a job in which she excelled, and then an adorable young daughter as well. But then everything changed when a plane plummeted into the countryside of Virginia. Sidney Archer soon found herself in the middle of nowhere and she didn’t know whom she could trust.
Jason Archer was a brilliant young executive working for Triton Global which was known to be the leading tech conglomerate in the entire world. he was determined to prove the best to his family and for that, he entered into a deadly game secretly. He was just about to vanish from there while leaving behind his wife to sort out many of his lies from the truth.
Total Control is a good thriller along with some great suspense. However, the technology referred to in the novel is quite dated and that somehow made it slightly difficult for the listeners to develop a connection with the story. Still, it can be attempted for its good part and especially the suspense that this book holds.
