Three Wishes is a contemporary romance novel written by Kristen Ashley. She has written nearly 80 novels so far that have been translated into multiple global languages. Her global reach resulted in the selling of more than three million copies. A couple of her novels have been taken into films as well. If you want to try more of her novels then After the Climb is one of them. Still Standing is another excellent novel by the author.

Carly Robins is the narrator of this novel. The narrator playing the male part was too hard to adjust with. It was all fine with the female character’s voice.

Lily Jacobs inherited a gene named Fazire, when she was born. There were three wishes of her family. They would be only using one from the three so that made Fazire stuck right in the world of humans. This worked well since he would go on to become the family member in any case.

The young life of Lily even with a genie is not perfect. To escape the kids who were making her look bad at the school, she buried herself in romance novels. One day when the testing got a bit too much, she made use of one of her wishes. She came to Fazire and told that she wanted to have a man who is just like the character n her books. She made a very complicated kind of a wish that Fazire had every got to be fulfilled.

This one is a very interesting paranormal kind of romance novel. There were a few annoying misunderstandings between the characters, but it all aged well. The narration had some margin for improvement.
