Whitney G. is a New York Times bestselling author. She has written this romance novel – Thirty Day Boyfriend. It is about a woman who signs a contract with her boss for thirty days. She has to act like they are married in front of the press. Besides this book, the author has other mesmerizing books such as Two Weeks Notice and Dirty Doctor.
Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber duo has narrated this book. They have been able to depict the relationship between the employee and the boss in the story in a very sexy way. Erin’s voice can get annoying at times though, but Zachary makes up for it with his solid performance.
The protagonist makes a deal with the devil – her control-freak boss. She is an overqualified executive assistant herself. She has to act as his fiancée for the next month. This is all for the press. There isn’t going to be any actual kissing and sex. Since the package is so good, how can she say no? Turns out, the monetary package wasn’t the best thing about it. It was her boss’s 9-inch package. As she was counting out the seconds to thirty days, her boss comes in front of her, naked. He purposefully drops his towel to show her who the “bigger” person in the marriage is. And at that point, she couldn’t control herself and things got out of hand.
This is a hot and hilarious story. It depicts how the dynamic of employee-boss changes quickly. The only complaint you’ll have is that it ended. And it will end quickly because it is relatively short. More time could have been spent on their relationship.
