We have seen how in different thrillers the author has talked about love and also about serial killers who are ready to pounce on their prey.

Most of the time there are two stories that are working at the same time and the stories along with the characters intermix at the end which makes the impression even better. Reckoning provided this kind of spice and also brought a lot of fame for the author. This is not an independent story rather it is a series and this is the first part of the series which has more introduction in it.

Rohan is the main character who has all the wealth in the world and like most of rich people he does not possess a good reputation as a lover but this does not mean that he possesses a sinister heart. Actually, he has not been able to find the right kind of woman for himself and these temporary relations mean nothing to him.

Simple words that are being used in this novel remind many of The Cove in some places. The circle in which the baron is living is not that friendly rather several of them are actually jealous of him. Rohan does not care about these things as he wants to live a carefree life with no enmity with anyone. Get a taste of this first part and every listener will become a fan of the narrator Anne Flosnik as well.
