The Werewolf’s Christmas Wish

The Werewolf’s Christmas Wish is a paranormal romance book penned by Kristen Painter. it is a book no 4.6 of the Nocturne Falls series. You should read Lost in Las Vegas from the same author. Besides that, you can check out Sucker Punch.

A fantastic tale like this one should have an equally capable voice-actor narrating the book, and that is what B. J. Harrison is there for. He is masterful in performing all the characters of the book. He doesn’t have any apparent weaknesses as he immerses the audience in the rich book.

Bridget Merrow owns the bar in Nocturne Falls. This is the place which is celebrating Halloween all days of the week, every week of the month, and every month of the year. For the people looking inside from the outside, this is all a show. Bridget is a werewolf and her brothers are the police chief and fire chiefs. Sam is one of the disgraced sons of a werewolf alpha. He is also a firefighter. The attraction between Sam and Bridget is unavoidable. It has been brewing ever since he moved into the town. However, the romance materializes after both of them are locked inside a walk-in-freezer.

Bridget’s life is already amazing. She has everything a werewolf could wish for. Business is booming and her family is awesome. However, she just wants someone to share Christmas with. Too bad that the person she wants to spend the time with doesn’t want her in return. Or does he?

It is a cute and refreshing story that is unfortunately too short. It ends before we even get to know the characters properly. The dynamic of the relationship is also very attractive for the listeners, as it adds layers to the experience of this wonderful fantasy.
