To live in Nocturne Falls, you need to be yourself, with all your fangs, fur, and viciousness. Delaney James had assumed the identity of a mail order bride after seeing her maybe-mobster boss murder a guy. She came to the town that celebrates Halloween every day. There, she met her groom-to-be, who is a 400-year-old vampire. Hugh never expected to fall in love, and only accepted the proposal to appease his grandmother. However, both Hugh and Delaney are hiding secrets that might cost them in the future.

When Delaney enters the Nocturne Falls Valentine’s Day Bake-Off, she wasn’t expecting that an old rival would create this much chaos. Now, they will all need to work together if they want to survive the upcoming surprise.

If you’re a fan of the series, you can’t help but be drawn to the city of supernaturals. Even for people unfamiliar with the series, it won’t hurt to start this one because of how great it is.
