The Turn of the Key Audiobook
Ruth Ware can catch your mind in a split second and then the mind never gets distracted until the story ends and the conclusion is nicely transferred to your mind. Imogen Church narrates another master blaster written by Ruth, the writer who never makes the audience bored at any stage of the novel. Rowan Caine is the central figure in this story and she is in prison.
She is trying to get to her lawyer fast and at the same time, she is trying to tell herself where she has gone wrong in her life. At first, she was an ordinary woman who was looking for a good job and perhaps a good place to live too but that was not possible because she lacked money and experience.
Then while walking on the road, she saw an ad that seemed to be perfect for her. It was the job of a nanny and the couple was ready to provide a suitable place to live in. Rowan didn’t think of anything twice and she went directly to that house which was superbly equipped with the latest technology. The house was full of luxuries and the children were also quite humble.
Rowan at once agreed but later she thought that she had made a mistake because nothing in that family was perfect and the children were really troubled all the time. Still, she never wanted to kill any of them but one day when the parents were out, Rowan was found with a dead body in the house. Now she claims that she hasn’t committed any kind of crime at all. Mysteries are loaded in The Woman in Cabin 10 too but here the mysteries get revealed quite later in the novel. In a Dark, Dark Wood is another spooky story that you will never forget if you give all your concentration to the show.
