The audio narration of The Trials of Blackbriar Academy is done by Amanda Dolan. It is a very good job done by the narrator and this is what will keep you interested in this book for a long. Blackbriar Academy is meant to be an enraptured school that was located somewhere on a magical island and almost everyone wants in. The place was meant to be a home for the most talented and advanced mages in the world. This was a place where only the best from the world are ever given any invitation.
By some way or using a freak accident, I got one invitation for myself from there. I could stay there only if I manage to pass the trials. I had nowhere else to go from there. Blackbriar was providing me with one great opportunity for having a good shot at real life. I was determined not to allow anyone to take away this opportunity from me. But, there is a catch here…
The story of this book is just alright. The characters were acceptable too. It was the good narration that compensated for quite a few things that weren’t executed that well in this book. Overall, this book is worth having a go at.
