The Tower of Fools is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the first chapter in The Hussite Trilogy which is written by Andrzej Sapkowski. He is an immensely popular Polish writer and this title was translated into English from Polish by David A. French. Andrzej is a brilliant, creative mind in the literary writing world and he has given us plenty of reasons to cherish his great work. One worth mentioning novel by the writer is Blood of Elves. Apart from this, you will also have a very enjoyable time with his The Tower of Swallows novel.
The audio narration of this novel is stunningly done by Peter Kenny. You will love it. Reinmar of Bielawa was a magician, healer and as per some people, a charlatan as well. He was also known as Reynevan. A tactless imprudence pushed him to the point where he had to flee his home. After that, he discovered himself chased by brothers who were seeking vengeance, but also by the Holy Inquisition.
At a time when the tensions between the Catholic and Hussite countries were rising and threatening to turn into war, Reynevan journeyed to Narrenturm. It was meant to be the Tower of Gods. It was more of an asylum for the mad or for all those people who dare to think differently or perhaps, test the prevalent order.
This is a fantastic start to the trilogy and the ending of this chapter will make you do one thing that you would binge-listen to the penultimate and ultimate chapters of the trilogy. The story is very tempting and wouldn’t let you go unless you are through with this book completely.
