The Sweetest Burn is the second installment in the Broken Destiny novel series which is a contemporary romance book. It is beautifully written by Jeaniene Frost. She is an American writer who is known for her bestselling romance work in USA Today and New York Times. Her novels have been sold to 19 different countries. One Foot in the Grave is the novel of the author to try and you will not be disappointed. A similar experience may also come with her Halfway to the Grave.
The narration of The Sweetest Burn novel is done by Tavia Gilbert. It was an average narration. The only issue with Tavia was that she seems to be in some rush with the performance of this novel.
The conquering of a supernatural kingdom was quite easy compared with a shattered heart. But, the initial victory by Ivy made her a definite target of revenge. It forced her with no choice other than to reunite with the sexy Adrian. She was not sure that what would be harder for her. Will it be the finding of the weapon to repair the walls amid the human realms and demons or to resist herself from Adrian? It wouldn’t be an easy ask. But knowing Adrian it looks like that he would move heaven and earth to make sure that Ivy is only his. Do check out this novel to find out more about the great tale of Adrian and Ivy.
You will really enjoy this series, including this novel and you might feel obsessed with the great writing of the author. The narration could have been better if Tavia tried to do it calmly.
