Zombies don’t kill you, they eat up your humanity and make you a bloodsucking parasite for the rest of eternity. It starts as a viral thing in the first part of the series and then there is no cure to stop this madness. More than half of the population changes into this sickening creature and the rest are forced to live underground if they want to keep their human instincts alive. For the humans, the dark time has returned and no one is going to help the other because everyone is worried about his or her own fate.
In the second part of the series, the author Christopher Artinian takes the battle to the next level as the humans also start to fight back because they are left with other options. In the third and final part of the series which is also narrated by Kim Bretton, the author brings us to the end of the war. Till the end, no one can guess who is winning the game. The End of Everything: Book 10 and Neverland, Part 2 possess such dramatic material in them.
So these books can also be considered as a helping material to understand the concepts on which the author works. The author does not allow the primary characters to get the upper hand on most occasions and through this our sympathies are always focused on the main character.
