The Ruler

Men as a routine are presented as the rulers of the land because of their dominance over the women. Elin Peer reverses the thing and portrays a world that is dominated by women. Now the women are the rulers of the land for centuries and men act as royal subjects. Many men have tried to take back the power but they have failed quite drastically. Khan Aurelius is one of the rebels and he thinks that he can finally be the one who can restore the rule of men on the land.
Khan makes a councilwoman his hostage so that he can put forward his demands with her help. Also, the man thinks that he can start depicting his dominance by trying to control this one weak woman in his grasp. The councilwoman named Pearl who gets trapped in Khan’s plan happens to be a strong woman who cannot be tamed very easily.

Khan tries to make her see the different picture of the world but Pearl remains calm and tries to counter Khan’s every thought. During the whole thing there comes a time when even Khan gets impressed by the behavior of this odd female character. Noelle Bridges and John Masterson have narrated the character of these two who try to impress each other in their way.

The Protector and The Fighter were one man shows as compared to this one. Here both characters have strong personalities and they attack each other’s minds in a different ways. Khan tries to charm Pearl while Pearl tries to impress him with her soft tone. Both find something interesting in one another at the climax.
