The only clues that remain to hint at her identity are – a Celtic brooch with magical powers, a locket with the portrait of a 19th-century man, and a blood-spattered shawl.
As a result of the information, Kit decides to continue the work of her father in search of her identity, and solve the murder of her birth-parents. Kit needs to survive the upcoming quest that will take her utmost resolve. If she can, she might solve the mystery of her heritage and return without giving her heart in the process.
