The Player

The Player is the second chapter of the Wedding Pact novel series. It is a contemporary romance novel which is written by Denise Grover Swank. She is known for writing urban fantasy, contemporary romance, mystery, and young adult novels. When the Bough Breaks is a suspenseful mystery thriller which is written by Denise Grover Swank and the novel is highly recommended. One Foot in the Grave is another mystery thriller that promises a lot of suspense and great entertainment as well.

Shannon McManus is the narrator of this chapter. There were some instances of experiencing grated voice but you will live up with this due to the other positives in the performance. Blair Hansen, the divorce attorney is quite convinced that marriage must be a thing based on practicality and not just on passion. But when her wedding was coming near, she started to recall her boyfriend from law school. He was the only one who she had ever loved. She regretting that what might have been the case otherwise.

Garrett Lowry is also a divorce attorney who is looking to settle down with the life. The problem is that he couldn’t find a woman who is a match for him or as close as the one whom he loved and lost. He broke her heart and something which he always regretted. But, after quite a few months of infatuation for Blair, finally, it was time for Garett to stumble across her in a freak sort of a coincidence.

The story at times seems to be a bit unrealistic. But, still, you will have your moments of emotions. The narration was also just at the acceptable level.
