The Play

The Play is a contemporary romance novel. It is the third chapter of the Briar U novel series which is written by Elle Kennedy. If you want to pick more books from the author then you must go with her The Deal novel for the quality of its writing. The Mistake is another excellent title by Elle that you must try.

The narration of this novel is done very beautifully done by Ana Osorio and Teddy Hamilton.

What have I learned after all the distractions in the last year which cost a lot to my hockey team? There should be no more screwing up. I needed to have a philosophy as a new team captain. Hockey and school should be my top priority, while women come much later. It means that I, Hunter Davenport am going to celibate it officially.

But, there is absolutely nothing in the rulebooks that says that I could not be friends with a woman. I wouldn’t lie here that Demo Davis, my new class fellow is a very cool chick. She has got a very smart, hot mouth as well and so are the other features of her. But, my temptations are eliminated after because she already has a boyfriend.

Except for the three months of our knowing each other, she is single now and looking for a rebound. Now, she is for sure trying to make a playoff me. Hooking up is a really bad idea and I need to convince both my heart and body for it.

The book will be worth your time and money for its characters and story. The narration was also pleasant.
