The Outsider is a supernatural fiction novel. It is written by Stephen King who has already proved to the world there is no one better than him when it comes to writing horror, supernatural fiction, and mystery thriller novels. The violated corpse of an 11 years old boy was found in the park of the town. The fingerprints were found and the eyewitnesses pointed towards one of the most popular citizens of Flint City, and that too unmistakably. His name was Terry Maitland and he was an English teacher and Little League coach. Besides that, he was also a husband and a father of a couple of girls. The son of Ralph Anderson, the detective was once coached by Terry Maitland. He ordered a very open and quick arrest of Maitland. But in that case, Maitland seemed to have a perfect alibi. But, detective Anderson and the district attorney provided the DNA evidence to go along with the witnesses and the fingerprints of the case.

Just when the investigation got more intense, some horrifying answers started to emerge. The propulsive story of Stephen King shifted to the higher gears while generating tension along with intense suspense.

Stephen King is an amazing writer and his character development is always impressive and terrific. But this time, it looked like he has become exhaustive and short of new plot ideas.
