The Negotiator

The Negotiator is a contemporary romance novel. It is the first chapter in The Negotiator (Flynn) novel series which is written by Avery Flynn. She is the bestselling writer of romance in the Wall Street Journal and USA Today. You may look to try her Back in the Burbs novel. Her Trouble on Top also received OK reviews.

The narration of this novel is done by Stephanie Rose. The narrator was good but not perfect, which is mainly due to her inexperience in the field. She needs to practice more.

Sawyer Carlyle was a workaholic billionaire. He might have joked about the need of having a buffer from his mom who seems to be too much marriage-obsessed. But, he wasn’t looking to have a room that is full of candidates who would further distract him. But, when a very hot and sexy candidate shoos his mother then Sawyer Carlyle was able to see the real genius behind the plan. Miss Clover Lee might just be able to get one of the fastest ever promotions which would be right from a buffer to a bogus fiancé.

This kind of free spirit could look like some beautiful rainbows or probably the hot sunshine. But, she was able to negotiate things just like a pit bull. But, Sawyer was aware of the fact that what exactly has hit him. He said yes to give up his Fridays nights for a TV reality show and his Saturdays entirely for the flea markets. His Tuesdays and Thursdays by the way were reserved as his date nights. Now, she wants to have the tulips and bath salts delivered to her every Monday, maybe not.

This is not a bad book at all, but you will find it quite predictable. The author and the narrator both with their respective roles were a little above average.
