The Ministry of Curiosities Boxed Set is a collection of the first three novels from The Ministry of Curiosities novel series. This romance and fantasy collection of novels are written by C. J. Archer. She writes historical mysteries, historical fantasies, and romance novels. Her Murder at the Piccadilly Playhouse novel stands tall in her literary archives as one of her better novels. You can say the same about her The Watchmaker’s Daughter novel as well.
The audio narration of this boxed set of novels is done by Shiromi Arserio. It was a mediocre kind of performance. You wouldn’t face any major issues with the performance. Charlotte for five long years has lived her life in slums as a boy. But, some thefts got her finally arrested. The only way for her to escape was in the hands of a dead man.
Charlotte was never known for raising any spirit since she first found that she could do that for five years. Her father that time banished her. She brought a lot more trouble for herself this time. Charlie was been chased all across London by people. However, only one man was able to capture her.
Lincoln was the mysterious person from a secretive organization who wanted to have a necromancer to get control over all of his newly made creatures. Charlotte was the only known necromancer left in the world. But, there appears to be a couple of those now. Lincoln managed to capture Charlie and with the hope that Charlie will be reached through the boy. The stories in this boxed set are a bit slow-paced. The characters were interesting and the story was just fine. The narrator was acceptable but it is just that the slow-paced story didn’t allow the narrator to perform well to his full potential.
