The Man on the Mountaintop Audiobook
Stanley Tucci, Clare Corbett, Rachel Atkins, and David Thorpe are really good narrators and they are highly skilled in the narration of fantasies. Unlike The Silent Corner the book is not talking about criminal activities or other mysterious happenings that might scare us rather it is about getting a soothing feeling in the mind and heart. Susan Trott tailors the character of a man named Joe who can solve the problems of the people within no time. Holy Man Joe happens to be a symbol of hope for everyone so people with all kinds of troubles go to him in order to seek guidance through his wisdom. There are characters who used the hard way to rise high in life and there are opposite characters who favored lying and cheating. The book is wonderful in the sense that it has been written and narrated in a lighter tone.
The author has tried to provide a proper lesson for all kinds of people. Life is a precious thing and we got to think about it every now and then. Leaving it aside and getting indulged in greedy things is a waste of time. The author also had a few problems in the early days and sleeping peacefully was the toughest thing for her. Meeting the man with such a superb grip on the different aspects of life was a wonderful experience and Susan was surprised to find that her insomnia problem was also solved within no time. Sometimes people living in an isolated environment finally start understanding life clearly and they are able to guide other people as well. Wit is induced in every word after the middle of this book.
