The Lucky One is a contemporary romance novel. It is written by Nicholas Sparks. He is an American philanthropist, screenwriter, and novelist. He has so far published more than 20 novels and a couple of nonfictional books. One great feature here is that all of his books appeared in the New York Times bestselling list. More than 115 million copies of his books have been sold worldwide which have been translated into 50 different languages. The Return novel became the read identification of Nicholas Sparks as a good novelist. After this one, you will also find his The Rescue novel as a superb one.
The narration by John Bedford Lloyd was just so perfect. You might take a bit of time getting used to his female voices, but it was quite good overall.
This book tells a brilliant story of a person whose life brushes quite close with the dead and that took him next to the love of his life.
Is lucky charm a thing for real? The hero of this novel believes that he has found one in the form of a picture of a smiling woman who he has never met before. But, he believes that she is the woman who has the key to his destiny. A good long chain of events that took him with the possession of this picture and locating the pictured woman is a kind of love story that only Sparks could write.
Nicholas Sparks is known for having his novels with a predictable storyline. This wasn’t a typical novel by the author as the ending was quite suspenseful. It was a great novel overall with incredible vocal performance.
