The Last Necromancer is the opening chapter of The Ministry of Curiosities. This historical romance fantasy title is written by C. J. Archer. She is a nice author of historical, fantasy, and fiction books. You will find the author at the best of her writing skills in Murder at the Dressmaker’s Salon novel. Another novel by the author where she did a great job with her writing is The Goldsmith’s Conspiracy. The narration of The Last Necromancer novel is done by Shiromi Arserio. The voice acting for the novel was done reasonably well and you will not have much to complain about.
Charlotte Holloway for almost five years has lived in the slums as a boy. But when one theft gets her arrested then the only possible means to escape lies with a dead man there. Charlie hasn’t raised a spirit since the time she was divorced first and she could have done that five years ago. Her father that time banished her and this time, she brought a lot more trouble upon herself.
People then were hunting Charlie all across London but there was only one man who could succeed in capturing her. Lincoln Fitzroy was the highly mysterious head of a secretive organization that was on the trail of a madman. He was the one who need to have a necromancer to control the creatures of his newly ‘made’. There was only one necromancer there in the world and that was Charlotte. But then it appeared to be two of them. Lincoln was the one who captured Charlie with the hope that the boy would link him to Charlotte.
But what would happen when he will find out that the boy was a young woman in reality which he had been looking for all along This is more of a juvenile novel and should have been rated as a young adult novel. The storyline of this book is very predictable and kind of boring as well.
