Andi Arndt and Sebastian York are the two narrators of this book. They have given solid performances and have great chemistry together. They both gave this dual point-of-view story a life that can’t be experienced just by reading. Andy was a great Nicole and Sebastian did a satisfying Ryder. There is nothing much to complain about, if at all.
Ryder has been afraid of commitment all his life. He just wants to have fun for a while. He is just like other guys who are weary of knocking up a girl especially on their first date. He loves to hear the words “your place or mine” on the first date. He doesn’t want anything more from a woman than the thrill of the night.
Nicole is the hot-as-sin coworker of Ryder. She has had enough of guys and the drama. She just wants a no strings attached sleeping partner. Thus, the handsome Ryder is perfect for that role. And just like her, he doesn’t want anything else from a girl either. Or does he?
This is the story of two people as they fall in love and realize what is important in their lives. They are not expecting it. They just wanted to have fun. It starts as something casual and grows into something organic. The characters are written very nicely such that a person falls in love with them.
