Charming, handsome and hot men are hot to come by but luckily we have Adam Black here in the story. Adam is one man who is for every woman who desires to be with him all the time. Being immortal the man travels in time and visits different places at which he meets women that pinch his heart thus he stops and pay a little attention to them. After a while when he gets tired of the company of these women thus he leaps into another era and gets interested in other things. For centuries things have gone in the same way but now someone has altered in a big way. Adam in not immortal anymore and he has turned into an invisible man too. In a nutshell Adam is dead for the real world. His soul wanders here and there but of no avail because no one can help him. Here enters Gabrielle who has a curse of her own i.e she can see the real and the Faery world which according to many of her classmates does not exist.
Not only this, she is the one in the whole world who can see Adam. Karen Marie Moning gives this good news to the main character along with a bad news. Life of Adam and Gabrielle gets on the line as they are being chased by the deadly forces that took Adam’s powers first. Kingdom of Shadow and Light and Darkfever didn’t talk much about seduction and other such stuff. This book talks about the relations of Adam Black in an open way. We see him wandering here and there with different women, showing no sincerity towards any of them. Phil Gigante uses gay style to tell the audience about the dizzy happiness of the immortal.
