The servants or the followers of the Dark One are on a rampage and they are creating a huge disturbance in and out of the game. Both worlds seem to be in danger as several lives have been lost already and there is no way out of this mess except facing the devil in its den. Dave Willmarth does not portray a weak hero in this novel but he is apparently out of resources because protecting both worlds is a tough ask for anyone.
Olympus has been attacked and protecting it becomes tough when attacks start in the real world at the same time. Alexander and his friends are on the case in a flash, they take time before reaching the core of the entire issue. Greystone Guild feels that it is outnumbered so it adds some new allies to make the stand against the evil much stronger. The noob zone was not a piece of cake for anyone to handle.
The Dire Lands must be protected at all costs and for this, the players have to use the complete powers which they have gained during their time in the game. Jeff Hays is not alone in narration this time, the narrator has the company of Laurie Catherine Winkel too which makes a perfect combination.
Shadow Sun Rebellion was not the same but there are a few things that the author uses on regular basis in his works. The story is really fun to listen and don’t try to think too much about the concept of the two different worlds because in that way you would not be able to enjoy the entire thing.
