The Golden Compass

Several dimensions collide in this mysterious world of magic. Here everything which the children have heard in the fairy tales is real. The goblins and the magical creatures can be seen hovering around here and there. This surely is not a piece of good news for humans because they are not safe under such circumstances. The goblins take their children when they get the chance and then those human children disappear from the face of the world forever.

Lyra is the only character who stands in the way of these creatures. It was her uncle who constructed the bridge between the two worlds but he is nowhere to be seen. Also, Lyra’s friend Roger is taken away by these mysterious creatures because of which she is now helpless in the world.

This parallel world in which humans also have animal familiars is a dangerous world and Lyra has to play with fire if he wants to match the evil which exists behind the veil. Firstly she has to understand the purpose of her uncle behind the entire creation only then she would be able to get hold of the things that are going out of control. Phillip Pullman i.e the author of the story narrated it along with Stephen Thorne, Joanna Wyatt, Rupert Degas, and Jill Shilling.

There are many fans of the author who have enjoyed The Ruby in the Smoke and there was also another book with the name The Amber Spyglass that became very famous. This book can be included in the same list of books because it has the classic finish which is mind-blowing for sure.
