The Gods of Guilt Audiobook
Mickey Haller is there in a flash when he gets a distress call, he likes to solve cases and eradicate crimes. So far he has done well in his career and he wants to continue the streak in the same manner. When Mickey gets the code for murder, he knows that the case is waiting for him. He likes such challenging cases which include a mad killer on the loose.
On reaching the spot he gets a surprise which is not pleasant at all. The one who has been murdered was once a client of Haller. She was a prostitute by profession and it was Haller who showed her the right way and took her out of that stinky business.
Haller starts the investigation and finds out that the woman had been in LA for a long time once again which shows that she was back to her business perhaps. There was also a chance that someone from her past was trying to blackmail her. Haller is one of the most famous characters created by Michael Connelly and here the author penetrates into the past life of this character.
Haller wants to solve the case because his professionalism demands that but for this he has to scratch his own past too. Peter Giles’ narration has brought this book equal to The Law of Innocence: Booktrack Edition in quality. A book named Desert Star can also be compared with this if you are interested in observing the quality of the author. The killer means serious business here and he is not going to stop unless someone stops him by force.
