If you want to try more of his novels then The Dread Wyrm will make a good read.
The audio narration of The Fell Sword novel is done by Matthew Wolf. The narrator had issues with the pronunciations which were inconsistent with what he had used in the first chapter of the book. You will find it hard to get used to his voice and inflection.
Miles Cameron managed to weave a superb story of depravity and magic in this highly awaited sequel of The Red Knight.
Loyalty is something that comes at a price and it costs money. But when you look at the betrayal, it almost always comes free of cost.
When the Emperor was taken away as a hostage then the Red Knight along with his force found their services to be in very high demand. They also discovered themselves surrounded by foes from all sides. The country was in total revolt. The capital city of the country was besieged and any victory, if possible would be hard-won. But then, there was a good plan in hand of the Red Knight.
Does the question arise that could be able to negotiate the magical, political, romantic, and real battlefields all at the same time?
The book has a superb weave of characters and the story is very engaging. The expertise of the writer with medieval and armor weaponry is pretty evident.
