The Darkest Craving is a contemporary romance novel. It is the tenth chapter of the Lords of the Underworld novel series. This book is written by Gena Showalter. She is an American author who is into writing paranormal romance, contemporary romance, and young adult novels. She had her first book published when she was 27 and now she has got more than 25 published books. She has also been the bestseller in the USA. Thanks to her The Darkest Destiny and The Darkest Whisper novels which did quite well for the writer.
The narration of this book is done by Max Bellmore. The performance was below average and the audience didn’t appreciate that. There seems to be some issue both with the performance of the narrator and also the audio production quality.
Kane has gone through several weeks of extreme torture that he experienced right in the bowels of hell. He wanted to have or to do anything with Josephina Aisling, the gorgeous rescuer. It was that half-Fae girl who endangered to rouse the demon which was right inside him. It was a beast that he wanted to kill at whatever price that it takes.
Josephina got hunted by a highly ruthless foe. It was her own royal family and then it was only Kane who could be thought of as her only and the best source of protection. He was the only one to set her aflame ever and he at his end as well succumbed to the heat.
This was a way better book in terms of its story as compared to the last chapter but it is still not a perfect or extremely enjoyable one. Even worse, the audio performance further ruined the experience.
