There are a few great things that one can always expect from the stories designed by Brandon Sanderson and the first one is the world that he creates. Sanderson never talks about the real world because he happens to be the king of the fantasy world. He takes the audience to a world where nothing is real but still, everything looks interesting and it grabs the mind of the listeners forever.
Ramon De Ocampo is with this particular series for a long time so the fans wanted to listen to this new part of the series in his voice. It was Alcatraz’s thirteenth birthday when he finally got something left for him by his father and mother.
It was a bag of sand that had big troubles attached to it. Perhaps he would not have accepted it if he had any idea about the Evil Librarians who were after it. Now after receiving it, he had no choice except to save his life and also save the lives of others who were dependent on him. The job was not easy for the one who had only one skill i.e to break things in different ways.
The situation and the hero would look clumsy if we try to see the story according to The Eye of the World and The Gathering Storm but it is great without any doubt. Alcatraz is no hero but he is not a villain either so this makes him the right man for the job. He needs a bit of luck to survive in this new Evil Librarian issue and he thinks he does not possess that especially after losing the only gift left for him by his parents.
