The narration of this chapter is done by the duo of John Lane and Tatiana Sokolov. The female narrator was disappointing. The male narrator was good but not perfect.
Richard VanRyan is known as a tyrant by the day. He transforms into a playboy by night time. He used to love his life just the way he likes. H just don’t care for anybody. The best way to describe him is that he is completely unapologetic and he is not ready to change anything about himself.
Katharine Elliot was an employee of Richard. She was working as his Assistant. She always scorns not only his questionable ethics but as an overall person. She withstands all the garbage that comes to her from him. It is all because she needs the job. The end goal for them is a lot more critical as compared to the regular abuse she has to tolerate.
This is a novel that you will love to have on a vacation or perhaps over the weekend. It will be a very pleasant listen.
