The author wrote more than seventy novels in her career and every novel has remained a super hit till the very day. The emotions which are described by the author, look quite real and we sometimes start thinking that the characters actually existed in the world.
Mary had never tried to produce books like The Last Orphan because she wanted to write something which is applicable to the real world. Sir John happens to be the primary character of the story and he is quite fed up with relatives in his life. He lost one of his daughters because of a mishap and then he became such stone hearted that he stopped meeting the other one.
The story starts during the Christmas holidays when people like to spend their leisure time with their family members or friends. Sir John invites three children to his mansion instead of a high daughter. He wasn’t expecting that the presence of those three children will change his perception of life forever. He finally starts thinking about his loneliness and the possibility of meeting his daughter during the holidays. The children bring life back to the mansion and also to Sir John.
Happiness and love is something that comes from the inside and John feels this thing on Christmas Eve. It is Richard Armitage whose voice will pour this story into the ears of the audience. Richard himself knows a lot about stories with this kind of theme so he has done a very good job.
