It was “The Lord of the Rings” that made J.R.R. Tolkien famous all over the world in just a short time. Every part of that series was a hit on the day it got the market and later people instead of being tried started craving for more. This novel which Christopher Lee narrates is not a part of The Fellowship of the Ring or The Hobbit but it is equally interesting in all respect. The gigantic creatures like the dragon and mythical fortress of Angband is ample to paint the picture equal in grandeur to the previous series. It was Morgoth who became the first Dark Lord of the land, after getting into power like any other kings his prime objective was to destroy every kind of rebellious force present in the land. Turin and Nienor were the brother and sister which threatened the king more than anyone else in the land.
Thus the king decided to get rid of them first of all after which he would have the time to have a look on other matters. Glaurung is hired for this specific task who takes the shape of a dragon to eradicate the place where Turin and his children are staying at present. This wingless dragon along with his mighty master enters the land and puts everything on fire in all directions. The rebels were not ready for this because they were just in the planning stage and haven’t prepared anything for resistance. Still the children of the family survive which means that the battle never ended with the flames of the dragon. Just like the previous series the story does not get finalized here and it seems to be in a continuing order.
