The Casanova

The Casanova is a contemporary romance novel. It is the third chapter in The Miles High Club. The book is written by T L Swan. She is seriously addicted to the thrill of writing and couldn’t imagine her life otherwise. She is from Australia and mesmerized us with plenty of beautiful novels where The Stopover is one of them. Mr Garcia is another engaging novel from the author.

The audio narration of this book is done by CJ Bloom and Ryan West. The male narrator was not too good, especially with his accent. The female was just OK with her part. Infuriating Elliot was always my favorite hobby. Only the sight of the handsome face of my boss used to trigger my sarcasm. Only God knew how he managed to earn the reputation of a Casanova. If there are a million ladies who want him for the personality he had then what exactly I was doing wrong there?

I was disgusted and done with my love life. Eventually, I made my mid to sign-up on a dating app. I used a fake name there. Edgar was the first man there I started chatting too. He was not my type of man and was also living in the other part of the world. But we developed a connection and used to have a good laugh.

Things of late started to get weird at work. The eyes of Elliot started lingering on me a little longer as compared to before. And then I got the shock. He told me that my vulnerability for him was very attractive. But, when was I vulnerable?

The thing was that he was reading all my emails to Edgar. I still curse myself that why I was using my work email for that. So, does he know what I think about him?

The story has some good twists and turns. The ending somehow was predictable but it will still surprise you to some extent.
