Running their daylight errands from allowing in the plumber to picking up some cold O negative, gives her a look at the not-much-glamorous side of the life of a vamp. Her rules were quite strict. The relationships with the vamps are supposed to be a very strict business, and it is not friendship. Moreover, it is certainly not anything else. But the time when she found Cal, her newest client, who was poisoned on the floor of his kitchen, then Iris could help only.
Cal would be extremely sexy if Iris allowed herself to think like that ever. Cal then offered Iris a hefty fee for recruiting him at her place until he finds that who wants him permanently dead… Molly Harper is a genius author. Anybody who has a sense of humour would love her books. The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires are highly recommended.
