Finding the true passion in life is not easy all the time. A few lucky ones find their true passion very quickly in life and this provides them an opportunity to flourish at a rapid pace. Those who fail to find that passion roams around most of the time aimlessly in different directions. Joachim had that desire of finding his true passion right from his childhood when he was quite close to his identical twin.
From there, his mother took him to Paris without telling him any reason thus he got separated from his twin who went rogue later on. In this part of the world, this young lad was able to find the right passion for himself. Thus he adopted the job of a professional butler. The job was good and he became quite professional within no time. Meanwhile, his identical twin also got involved in more serious crimes but Joachim thought that he would not go to that past again in his life.
Olivia comes to Paris these days after failing in her magazine business. She thought that the place would give her a new start in her life. She hires Joachim for help to make her apartment worth living in. This working together allows them to come close to each other.
Danielle Steel does not join the past and the present till this stage and then he brings back the horrors of the past for the main character all at once. James Babson had to handle a lot of things here because he is the officially hired narrator for the book. The Duchess also touched the hearts of the audience because of the story and also the depiction of the narrator. However, Fall from Grace had some pauses in the narration but overall it was a good story as well.
