The Andromeda Strain Audiobook
Humans have been curious about the world around them since the beginning of time. In order to know the universe in a better way, human scientists have kept on trying to send different space probes into the galaxy. Not all the space probes sent by scientists have come with a positive result, but Michael Crichton introduces us to a different experience in this novel that he has written. The military space probe was sent into space on a secret mission.
The purpose of sending the probe was to collect an extra-terrestrial organism from space. The probe soon loses its connection with the station and nobody is able to track it down for a while. Then it is told that the probe landed on earth near the desert and the people living close to that desert are terrorized because they have seen something strange.

No human being is able to tell what the phenomena really was but everyone seems to be in a state of terror. The biophysicists working for the government take the matter into their own hands and they start analyzing the probe. Meanwhile, the terror continues among the people and the government officials are also not sure what they are dealing with on this occasion.
The Lost World and Jurassic Park were also about strange creatures which started eating the human race. Here the creature which is harming the humans is not from the earth rather it is linked to some alien world. David Morse’s narration is not loud according to many listeners and this is not an error rather it was intentional because the book needed such a whispering tone.
