The two opposites in the world of Sandra Brown get attracted to one another in a force that they become inseparable. It is not only the audience that thinks that the two characters are complete opposites but also the characters are of the view that they cannot coexist in any circumstances. Still, they cannot control the wild lust for each other when it starts rising.
Sage Tyler had a nice fiancé and she contended with the presence of the man. She thought that she had found the right man for herself and she was right but the trouble starts when the man leaves her in a bad way. The conversation between these two individuals is narrated superbly by Coleen Marlo as the wedding plan goes to the trash.
Harlan Boyd was near them when this conversation took place and he thinks that he has a chance to get his hands on Sage i.e a beauty that he has never experienced. After a while, Harlan realizes that Sage was not the woman who would fall for him because she was looking for a man who would not be a drifter in his approach toward life.
The two thought that they would not be meeting each other again and then they found themselves fighting for the same cause after a few weeks. The business goals made the two come close for the second time in their life and they think that they might not be able to resist the temptation when they are so close to each other. Two Alone and Lethal are also strong stories and we cannot say that any of these novels can take the place of the other.
