Tech Duinn

Azrael is not even eight years of age but he knows the motive of his life i.e fight for the Sovereign Elite. He has been trained from the day when he started walking on the ground. Though he is too young to compete in any kind of competition he is strong from the inside. His mind acts like a machine and he knows how to use his body and skill at the right time.

The writer of this series, Ryan Debruyn has introduced a very young primary character in this first book because he has a long way to go in the future. In the further parts of this series, we hope to see him as a young fighter fighting for his freedom. During the training, Azrael is made prisoner and he is taken to a strange world known as Tech Duinn.

In this strange world those who can fight always land in the arena and from there they never come out. The thing is simple i.e win the competition and get your freedom but no one has been able to compete till the end. Azrael gets lucky because he gets the support of some prisoners who try to hide his identity in order to keep him away from the arena for as long as they can.

Still, when the time comes, this young lad has to fight for his life and the fate of his kingdom. Earthdom and Equatorial took the audience on a voyage in outer space, this one has done almost the same thing in a different style. After reaching Tech Duinn the author does not talk about the space anymore and the focus is shifted to the arena. If anyone could narrate such a series then it is Steve Campbell and his selection as the narrator was the right decision.
