Taking Shots

Taking Shots is a contemporary romance novel. It is the first chapter of the Assassins Series which is written by Toni Aleo. She is the bestselling author in the USA and known for plenty of her series. Face-Off at the Altar will make a very interesting read or listen. You must try it. If you like this one then you must also try her In the Crease novel which is equally as good as the first recommended book of the author.

Lucy Malone narrated this book. The narrator had a very poor accent and the performance failed to impress or draw in an audience to the story.

Eleanor never thinks to be good enough ever, no matter, how hard she looks to try things. It includes everything in her life right from her weight to her job and her love life. After going through plenty of abuse with her ex, Eleanor is now wandering through her life in confusion. Tis continue dot be the case until she is introduced to Shea Adler.

They met at a professional photoshoot for the Nashville Assassins of NHL. The charming Shea all of a sudden shattered her world and broke the ice before Eleanor could figure out that what was happening there. He was quite tired of his life despite being a top athlete. But, things changed in her life after he met her. He didn’t take long to know that they both were made for each other.

This novel is beautiful with a very gripping story. You will love the characters as well and especially the romance between the couple. The narration of this chapter wasn’t so good which disappointed most of the audience.
