The adventure was something that was missing a lot in my boring life. So, when I fell into another world through a portal, I got so much excited. I felt really important there and special as well. I was able to find out to be so special when I met Death. He got exiled to the mortal realm and to work right through all of his flaws. And, on the other side was just as awful and spoiled as you could have thought about it. The shadow lord, Rhagos was quite rude, controlling, and arrogant. He was demanding to get his way. You will find him to be impossible and selfish as well.
He was magnetic and extremely gorgeous, and in a way, protective of me as well. All thanks to the magic bond, I then started to serve him just as his anchor to the mortal realm. That meant that I was his guide, his conscience, and as well as the target for any glory-seeker or assassin.
The subject series for sure is the best one from Ruby Dixon and this novel as well is arguably its best. You will love to experience the realistic type of emotional/ relationship development. The characters are very much believable and that made the story so much enjoyable.
