Storm is a contemporary romance novel. It is the first book in the Ashes & Embers novel series which is written by Carian Cole. She writes contemporary romance and is known for her gripping characters with a good storyline. You will surely enjoy her work in Don’t Kiss the Bride. After this, Torn might well be an even better book than Carian Cole has written.
The narration of Storm’s novel is done by CJ Bloom. It was an impressive performance and you will love it for sure. I felt the wind rustle that was warning me and also telling me to get completely clear of its path. But I didn’t and I never stood any chance. A series of road and weather mishaps left me trapped right in the centre of a blizzard. I was all alone there with a stranger. We were in the back of a small pickup truck and we spent 48 freaking hours there together.
He was a stranger with a tattooed body and long hair, and he was rippling with muscle. He was a stranger with an extremely sexy voice and a wicked smile as well. These traits were something that quickly turned my inside into jelly. Moreover, he was also a stranger who grabbed me in his arms, calmed me down, and then soon he set a fire within me, which I couldn’t put out.
Some people look to chase storms for a beautiful thrill. But what would happen if the storm chases you as well? Storm is a very good book. The best part is the humour and banter it has got to offer, and of course romance as well. In addition to that, the audio narration was spot on as well.
